The project will involve writing an invited book chapter on “Animal welfare in rodent management” for inclusion in the book ‘Rodent Pests: Ecology and Management’, edited by Jens Jacob and Grant Singleton. This will be the 3rd edition of the book previously entitled ‘Rodent Pests and their Control’, edited by Alan Buckle and Robert Smith, a book considered essential reading for all those involved in rodent pest control. As well as producing the chapter on animal welfare by November 2024, I will review other chapters for the same book.
