Science for Animal Welfare supports the Brachycephalic Working Group’s position which urges all potential owners to consider the possibility that if they acquire a flat-faced dog such as a French Bulldog, Pug or Bulldog there is a very significant chance that that dog will suffer from significant welfare issues including breathing difficulties, skin fold infections, eye disease and difficulty giving birth
